EL2300 series access controller is developed as a third generation successor to the popular EL2200. In the EL2300 series, ELID has made key hardware upgrades on MCU, memory, and communication, using latest technology advancement, while retaining the familiar user interface and programming steps of EL2200, so as to reduce learning-time for existing users to a minimum. There are 3 variants of the EL2300 series controller which share similar features:

EL2305: The EL2305 is a 2-door 2-reader controller, designed for mounting inside a metal housing together with power supply and battery.

EL2306: EL2306 is a full-fledged 2-door 4-reader controller with Entry Reader with Keypad; and Exit Reader for both doors. It designed for mounting inside a metal housing together with power supply and battery.
 

• Storage capacity: Stores up to 20,000 user-IDs and 10,000 offline transactions
• Display and keypad: 2x16 or 2x20-character backlit LCD display and 16-key keypad
• Reader type: Supports various types of reader such as Magnetic, Bar Code, EM/HID Proximity, Mifare

• Provision for dual card entry, output activation mapped to input status changes, fast reading speed and tail tag alarm operation
• Caters for timers and time zones, limiting access and users to different times of the day

• Firmware can be updated in-circuit, through the serial download from the PC
• Battery back-up for internal data storage and time clock
